I would not recommend Riverway Apartments to anyone. Don't let the beautiful landscaping and the decor in the main office fool you, those two things seem to be the only concerns they have. If you complain about something, they'll blame it on you. I had a problem with sanitary issues (BEDBUGS)and management attempted to illegally evict my family and on top of that, threatened to personally actually throw my belongings in a dumpster (illegally of course. . .which seems to be a pattern in their behavior). I'd rather sleep in my car (which I actually had to do, mind you)..then stay at this place. I wouldn't recommend Riverway to anybody based on my HORRIBLE experience.

As the Manager, of Riverway I am responding to the lies that this ex-resident has posted. First, the "bed bugs " where brought in by the resident, in their many travles!!! When Mgt. was going to throw away this residents stuff it was do with the fact that they where wanting to leave the matresses in the apartment and not wanting them to be treated. Where do you think the Bedbug got its name? It is a scary thought that this resident owns a restaurant and is serving people of my community with bugs on them. This resident never had a problem with management, maintenance, or anyone else, until Mgt. could prove that the resident brought in the bugs and they where going to be responcible for the cost. The resident had unauthorized residents in the unit and never had a complaint of anything. I am sorry that I even promoted their Berger place with my apartments. In this business you are always going to get people that act like this. My property is awsome and I have the best staff, along with maintenance any property could ask for. Anyone can drive through at any given time and ask anyone they see about Riverway and the responce will be VERY GOOD!! I personally invite you.

Hi my name is Sally. Im currentally a resident a Riverway apartments. I would like to say the manager would only trash someones personial items if they move out and leave it to be trashed. In there case there items are not suitalbe to sleep on. If you move the items from one place to another with out the items being treated correctly you'll move the bugs with you. It is almost like roaches!!!!!!! I never heard of a work order complaint as they are speacking of above. I lived in other apartments in Bay City and Riverway is the only apartments I would recomend living in. And formost my under standing is that the ex-resident above own MR. BUGER in Bay City. Becareful where you eat.

All you have to do is contact the city health inspector and that will take care of that problem with the bed bugs.

Sorry if this may be a bit late. Just started research and figured I would like to read reviews from other people before I do a personal inspection. I don't know who side I should be on considering all the arguments have terrible spelling errors. What a shame...
