Baker Down's could definitely be better, the project the last 3 ppl (i think) stated was the parking lot was being redone. There is no reason for the parking lot to be have to be redone in the same place over and over and over again. They never put the fliers out to tell you which entrance to take while they are doing the repairs. The maintenance I had absolutely no problem w/ what so ever. They were very polite, nice, and always welcomed into my home. Most of the time the manager or workers of the office were nice. Just when I had a snake in the threshold of my door, I called the office and they informed me that maintanence did not come out for that and it was something we would have to take care of on our on. Later found out they were supposed to call pest control. With the mouse we had they at least made an effort. The speed bumps were and are still so high in some places that coming to a complete stop to cross my car would still bottom out. 2ce we changed the oil pan because of it. Cars were always being vandalized. However it does go in spurts. It would be 3 or 4 mos w/o anything happening, then it would start again. There are no lights in the bedrooms. They don't tell you that there will be no lights before you move in. I would say yes or no to recommending this place to someone. I would just tell them my experience and let them figure out it for themselves.
