When you go in to talk to these people about renting they are so nice and helpful. I thought so; the first week our refrigerator ran constantly, froze everything in it, had to replace all of the eggs, milk, perishable items like lettuce/tomatoes. Complained and finally after the second week they fixed it. The thing then started leaking water in the bottom, complained, attached the written complaint to my rent payment. Payment was cashed, but no repair. We had to put a large bath towel in the refrigerator to soak up the water every day. Our water was off at least once a week; repairs with no notice. It was off for four days, and when we would call they would say it was almost repaired. Our a/c was out multiple times and we were put on the list when we complained. Sept in Baytown is not pleasant without a/c. They even took parts off of my a/c unit to repair the neighbors unit! My front door lock was damaged and it took anywhere from 1-3 minutes to lock/unlock the door. This was incidated on my initial report after moving in along with several other items that needed to be done - never done. The fire extinguisher was not refilled even though I asked it to be done, written request.
I would not move there. Nice smile and cookies, but dont' count on anything else.
