The place does have new owners and they have done a lot of work to the outside of the property but the appliances are very old. Maintenance is fairly quick but they just patch things up and have to make repeated visits for the same problem over and over again.

The last owners had night security, the new owners stopped that and about a month later several cars had their windows broken and contents stolen and a guy was found dead in his car, shot in the head. The new owners solution was to put up a gate with restricted access but it has not been implemented as of yet and will not work because their is only ONE WAY IN AND OUT of this very large complex so the gate will either be constantly open or there will be a very long line waiting to get in waiting on a visitor to get approved. Not very well thought out.

Their was one resident who had the upper apartment flooded by a past tenant and caused mold in their apartment but management refuses to fix it. If your late on your rent and what I mean by late is a couple of weeks they come to your place with the police and remove your property until you pay your rent. It doesnt matter if you went to talk to them and gave them a date when it would be paid, they will be at your door and take your belongings.

The new management is very rude . I have heard many bad comments about the head manager but my own is that she is the type that sees her position as empowerment and loves it. She acts as though she was in charge of a fortune 500 company and treats people in a demeaning and disrespectful manner.

I regret moving here and look forward to the day I can move out. The rent is cheap but their is a reason...( gangs,drugs and on the baytown police hotwatch according to the Baytown Sun Newspaper ) Remember... If its to good to be true ...it is...
