I have resided at Boardwalk for a year and a half. I moved there w/ my husband when I was 6 months pregnant, moving there was the worst mistake of my life! The neighbors above were very inconsiderate w/ the noise, even atfer complaining to the managment many times, they never ever fixed the problem. Our heater went out for 2 weeks in the dead of Winter and the Maintainence never came to fix it, we just kept hitting and kicking the box for it to kick back on. The same for the electrical units and air conditioner, my whole apartment unit was without lights or air for almost a week! I could never find a parking and in my condition it pissed me off that I had to walk so far just to get to my apartment. The tenants do not care about you vehicles, I bought I brand new car and within a week I had to take it to the local paint & body shop to get a paint touch up, I had knicks and bumps everywhere! The maintainence can hardly speak English and they cut ends when it comes to fixing something, they just patch it up and the problem is guaranteed to re-occur. The first 5 minutes within my moving into the apartment, I thought the roaches were paying rent. I had to have bommed that place about 8 times within the 6 months, we were VERY cleanly people so seeing roaches in our clothes and toilet paper discussted us entirely! Almost every tenant was rude, passing by being vulgar and disrespectful. Our outside decorations, like Christmans lights, were stolen within an hour of putting them up. Since my residing from 08-09, 1 person was murdered, 1 stabbed and 8 fights had occured. Not to mention my very own husband was a victim of one of those fights over a very childish parking spot, the two young men approached us one afternoon when we were unlocking our door after a long day of work, I was 8 months pregnant and was scared for my husband, me and my unborn childs saftey, the management didnt do ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING about the fight, they just told us to stay away from the problem starters!Another thing, the rent-a-cop ,Mr. Stan, they had "patrolling" the property walked around with a SHOTGUN on his shoulder!!! Things got so bad at that apartment complex, we broke our lease and reported everything to the Housing Apartment Association, we took the management to court! Our Broken Lease fees and we sued them for Pain and Suffering, we were also reembursed 7 months rent, thats about four thousand dollars. I kid you not, anyone who is reading this! For your saftey and your families saftey, not to mention, cleanliness...do not rent from this place!!! It is a complete nightmare. The staff is rude and they only care about you paying your rent on time, no matter the circumstances, you couldnt even be 3 hours late giving them the money. There is always Baytown Police officers driving around the complex because of its reputation and they pick on the innocent, those who arent doing drugs out in the open. Had I have known the repuation of Boardwalk of Baytown, I wouldnt have spent a year and a half of my life in fear. Thumbs WWWWAAAAYYYY down.

I am the owner of Boardwalk of Baytown and this is review is so fake, it makes me sick. Yes, there was a murder in late 2007 right after we took over in July 2007. A drug deal was set up over the phone between parties that did NOT live at Boardwalk. They met in the big parking lot by the actual boardwalk on the water. Three hoodlums shoot and killed a known drug dealer and robbed him of his drugs and money. They were soon caught and are in jail. This was BEFORE the reviewer says they moved in during 2008. There has never been a stabbing since we took over in July 2007. As to the heaters, we replaced 100% of the heaters in the apartments a few months after take over. They have a 5 year warranty and the vendor would fix them in one day if they broke so the reviewers story is BS. We also replaced almost all the air conditioners. So almost all that equipment is new as well and the reviewers story cannot be true. This person says that we treated their apt 8 times in 6 months for roaches. I will let you decide who was the problem there. This person freely admits they broke their lease with us. Also notice that they lived there for 18 months!!! Our leases do not exceed 13 months so that means that they RENEWED their lease at least once. Why would they do that if they were so unhappy? Truth is that they were happy up until the point we evicted them. They also freely admit they regularly paid their rent late. They freely admit that they did not like having an armed courtesy officer and the Baytown Police on the property. They freely admit that the Police stopped them many times. They freely admit that their neighbors all hated them. Are you getting the picture? This person was probably a drug dealer who did not like getting harrassed by our excellent courtesy officer and the police and was universally despised by their neighbors. I am 99.9% sure we evicted them and they wanted revenge so they posted this bogus review. I really liked the baloney story about them suing us for 7 months rent. Such a thing never happened. Anybody who has ever lived in an apartment in texas knows that such a thing has probably never happened anywhere in Texas. The comments about parking are really silly. Boardwalk has 20 acres of land for only 290 apartments. This is the highest ratio of land per apartment I have ever seen. There is always available parking all over the place. All I can say is good riddens to this non rent paying drug dealer. "Lucky Numba Six", go deal your drugs elsewhere and leave the good residents of Boardwalk of Baytown alone.

Lol! To be calling yourself a manager you are a very ignorant person and a liar. It is so funny how you are quick to call someone a drug dealer, well, if I were a drug dealer, why in the hell did you lease an apartment to me? You talk alot of smack here online, but everytime I did go into the office with a complaint, you sure did kiss my ass. It seems to me like you just want to take peoples money and don't give a damn about anything else. Well, you can take your -------- and shove it.
