Eagles Landing

We have lived here for a year and a half. For Beaumont, these "Luxury Apartments" are not bad. The complex is relatively quiet, other than the "normal apt. noise" from our upstairs neighbor. However, for such a steep price, they are surprisingly poorly built or insulated, whatever so that any time someone takes a shower either in my apt. or the apt. upstairs, there is ALOT of noise! (I can also occasionally here the person upstairs using the RR!!!GROSS!!!) The first year was great, but once the Manager and Leasing Agents changed, things haven't been the same. In 6 months, we've had 2 breakins and 1 domestic disturbance. (That's just the ones I know of!) THESE ARE "GATED"APTS!!!!!!One B-in was in the apt. across the hall in BROAD DAYLIGHT & I WAS HOME!!!! (No, I didn't hear anything)Also, Mgmt. seems slow to respond to maintainence calls. They sent a notice that they were power washing the apts. (They did the common outer hallways, but not the outside of the building and patio, even though I removed everything from my patio as asked!)Overall, they are not bad, but they are apartments! In Beaumont, there is not much in the mid-range cost for apts. Be prepared to pay the price for a decent place that doesn't look like a crack den.
