If you really want to save money on rent, this place may be an option for you...

The apartment managers and maintenance staff are pleasant but not very capable.

The apartment itself is very old and not well-maintained. The tiles in my shower are not sealed properly so water is definitely getting into the walls, probably growing mold.

The kitchen cabinets are falling apart.

The carpet are wore thin in many spots and the edges are not held down with anything.

There is no washer and dryer hookups available in the apartments. On-site laundry facility is available but no hot water is available for washers.

The community is not gated. Within the past two months, one of our cars was a target of "hit and run" and on another occasion, the car radio was stolen.

I was forced to move into this place because I had a contract with the Apartment Corporation and didn't want to be penalized. Now, even though we are not too please with this place, the rent is definitely pretty cheap. I guess you get what you paid for.
