my boyfiend and i just moved in about a month ago. everything is nice there, except a few things. they just got a whole new team working there and the guy is really nice but the old lady is very rude and seems to hate life. i had one problem with my a/c freazing over, but emergancy maitnance came within the hour at like 8pm to fix it, and i just found a crack under my door where a roach entered, but other than that, it's a really nice place. vented ceilings in the one bedroom townhome, two walk in closets, decent sized bathroom, spacious living room with a fire place, very small kitchen, and a pretty small dinning room. the regular maintance seems nice, they always smile and say hi, but thats the extent to my experiance with them. they bent the rules a little for me, your only supposed to have dogs under 35lbs, but since i have a friendly breed, they let my *fat* 50lb dog come. one more thing i dont really like about the place, they paint everything...the rails on the stairs, the brick on the fire place, the door, um...pretty much everything is white...no color in there at all, and it's thick layers of paint, so i have a few chips on my fireplace where bright red peaks through. overall, it's a good place to live, and if u live here alreaddy, i'd recomend meeting the new staff, i heard the old staff where pains in the neck.
:)

MY OPINION from MY EXPERIENCES - Pros: 1) Monthly rent is okay; 2) Maintenance okay; 3)Good location; and 4) Okay for TEMPORARY living. Cons: 1) Customer service needs extensive training in the following areas: interpersonal skills, customer care, personalization, and communication skills (among others); 2) Appearance is fair. Buildings need renovation (esp. boarding, paint, and patio), landscape is not kept up in a timely manner, and patio appearances need huge improvement; 3) Manager is ineffective and inefficient, has no professional etiquette and should not be in the field of customer care. The same type of behavior and operational inconsistencies is reflected in the manager's staff. FINAL THOUGHT: If you are looking for a place to live for about a year or two, the Harbour may be considered for the purpose of location, none other. I try to assume good intentions when dealing with the public; however, I am a realist, and the Harbour Apartments and the staff would not be a recommendation that I would submit as a place to call HOME.
