Back in the old days (before 2000), this was a fairly standard apartment complex and there was a very nice management who would happily work on any problem you have. But around 2003-2004 somewhere, a new management came along and everything changed. Things went from great to terrible.

Maintenance is pretty subpar for the most part, only maybe one or two of them are certified in my opinion and there's maybe about four-five of them in all!! Plus every time something is wrong in the apartments the management always says "they're working on it", but in reality they don't even come to LOOK at the problem until you repeatedly call them for days on end. And then, they get all angry with you and act like it's a real waste of their time to have to take the time out to fix your problems! How disrespectful!

Management is absolutely terrible. Every time you ask them about an issue they get mad at you and make up about a dozen different excuses to cover it up, then in the meantime do absolutely nothing about it. One time the drain in my bathtub was broken and it took them about three days to look at it, then they said "it'll be fixed by tommorrow for sure" when they could have fixed it today, and then they waited until almost nighttime of the next day to finally fix it.

The health issue is also a concern. Cigarette butts and all sorts of other garbage litter the walkways. The old management used to have the maintenance come by with giant buggys and claw tools and collect the trash every morning. However, ever since the new management came in the walkways were hardly ever cleaned, if at all. Garbage would pile up in the dumpsters, so high that people had to actually put their garbage on the side of the dumpsters, because there was no more room inside the dumpster. They send out exterminators once a month but they hardly help because they only spray the kitchen and bathroom floors, and there would still be a roach or two even after the spraying!

There are also big issues with noise here. If you live downstairs, you can actually hear the footsteps of people walking around on your ceiling, which can be disturbing and absolutely aggravating at times, and you can also hear the sounds of the people who live next door to you, and this also shows that these apartments aren't built with enough material to fully block out noise. Depending on what part of the apartments you live in, there will be crowds of people yelling and partying right outside your window! Management did nothing to fix this problem, either.

Overall, these apartments are not that good with too many issues that have yet to be fixed, and a rude management and maintenance staff to top that. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone and if you ask for my advice, there are many other affordable places to live here in Beaumont. Save your money and effort. Don't move here.
