I love where I live. I have a two story, two bedroom floorplan. Great layout! I will agree with others that the water pipes are a very loud annoyance. I have to close the bathroom door to watch TV in the beroom when my neighbors decide to shower. Other than that my only other complaint is that their are way too many unsupervised kids at the pool. If you are looking to just quietly float in a raft forget it, kids are everywhere and a lot without an adult. In managements defense I have seen them asking kids who was watching them.
What is everyones beef with management' I can understand getting a little miffed with a note on the door but why is that note there' I have had one note on my door and it was for hanging my pool towels over the balcony ledge. They simply put that it basically looked tacky to future residents....I see their point. The majority of trash being talked about management is from people who just plain do not get it. Putting trash on your balcony, letting your dog poop everywhere (when their are dog waste stations with bags) and basically not following community rules will get you a note from management, and deservingly so. As far as maintenance issues go, I have had every problem solved very quickly and no attitude from the girls in the office.
Safety is a biggy with me. We came from Westdale Hills. If you know anything about that place you can understand my concern. I never walked my dog past 10 pm and if I did my husband went with me. I have NEVER felt uneasy about living here. I am still careful but I have never felt like someone was watching me. Overall I am very glad I moved here and if all stays well I will renew my lease.

As far as the note on the door about your towels - do it again - and they'll fine you $50. That goes for anything being on your patio that they think looks tacky. You obviously haven't been there long enough to experience the way the ladies in the office really are. Good luck tho - hope it works out for you and your hubby.

Just wait Christi and Brooke will surely show you how rude they are give it time it took about two or three months before they started having attitudes. If they don't you are lucky b/c everyone I have talked to had the same problems I had. They try to fine you for everything not just trash.

Gosh, I???m shocked at some of these responses. I???ve never had a problem with the girls in the office. I???m glad they???re strict, otherwise people would leave trash and crap everywhere. This is why I chose to live here because it is clean. If you want to live in a run down neighborhood then this is not the place for you.

Same here...it's a very nice complex that is clean and safe. There are way too many unsupervised kids, which is my only complaint. I've seen little kids as young as 5 or 6 playing on the playground without an adult anywhere in sight. I can only fault stupidity on the parent's part for that. I've been here at Arbors for 4 years and have had virtually no issues.
