I have lived here for around 3 years. When I moved in I loved the management, -------, and the environment. ------- always let us know when things were going on in the neighborhood that we might want to watch out for (if the area was having an increase in car break-ins she would send a notice telling us even if it didn't happen on our property). ---- (maintenance) has always been fantastic and with a great attitude. While the electric bills can be on the high side, I really enjoyed my apartment and would tell others they should live there.
Well, this last year we came under new management and ------- left. Now, you get minimal friendliness in the office and there is always a different person in there. They don't introduce themselves and make no attempt to converse when you try. One young woman, --------, has been nice...but no one else. I am so glad they at least haven't lost ----. In addition, they decided to repaint over the last year. We were told it would just be a month or two. It turned into over a 6 month process and the paint job is spotty. To top it off, my renewal came up right after this and they tried to raise my rent after living in what looked live Section 8 housing for 4-6 months!! Seven people that I know (and I am not a chatty neighbor) have moved out, so I can only imagine what their overall tenant turn over has been like.
I had stuck with them and re-renewed but don't intend to again. The last time I renewed they added a trash fee. I asked why and they said they just decided to start charging us but we still haul it to the dumpster like we always have. I can't believe I am paying someone for me to haul out my own trash! Then, about a week ago, a neighbor stopped me and asked if I had heard what had happened. One of our neighbors had been held up at gun point and mugged while taking out his trash at an area that is poorly lit and by a dumpster with high bushes, tons of hiding places and is now the "required" place to take your dogs to walk them as well. He was mugged at gun point on a Saturday, it was on CH.11 News on Monday and finally on Wednesday the apartment sent out notices to HALF the complex (and my whole SECTION of the complex were in the list of those who weren't notified). The woman who told me is a single woman with a dog and I see many single women with dogs in the complex. And you are sending them to a poorly lit, poor visibility and now known area for crime to walk their animals' Really' If that was my sister or mom I would move them out myself. No place is completely safe but you can do better than that!
The amenities (work out area, pool, bbq area) were always just so-so. The way you got treated here was the biggest selling point to this complex and that just doesn't exist anymore. It is a shame, and I really would have been a "lifer" at this complex had their care for the tennants not gone so drastically down the tubes.
Now they are over-priced, under-serviced and un-safe because of the lack of dilligence on the part of the people who work there and own it...and they are still raising prices...what happened to the days of rewarding tennants who stuck with you'

I am a current resident for 2 years this fall 11/08 and I completely agree with everything written in this review. I plan to move as well which is why I am on this site. Also to add... during all the painting we were told our belongings in the storage above our covered parking would be fine and there was no need to move it. Well had I known all my tubs and everything else in that storage would be painted as well then I would have moved it out. Now I have storage tubs with painted lids which I have to spend the money cleaning!

I've been living at this apartments for almost 3 years. I could not agree more with what I've been reading. When the last manager left, she should have take the name of the place with her.
Not only everything I read is true, I've known of tenants leaving the apartments even before the end of the six month lease. The "manager" now, has very poor skills to deal with her tenants. Rarely, you'll see her outside the office, just walking around or at least TRYING TO BE FRIENDLY. She probably thinks that you owe her, just because she rented you an apartment.
I'll take ------- anytime. The ammenities has never been great, but the service and the attention that she provided to her tenants, was more than enough, to make you feel welcome!
What a shame!
