Nice Place

I really like the office staff, especially Sandy. I found her very capable and much more understanding than Pat (although I like Pat, too.) Sandy has always handled any needs I have quickly and competently. And after hours, Sandy is always the first to respond when something is going on - she's really fast about getting to a resident when there is a problem, so her customer service skills are outstanding, in my opinion.
I have zero problems with insulation. I have neighbors with kids, and I never hear a thing. I occasionally will hear my neighbor upstairs walking around, but that is to be expected if you live in an apartment. If you don't want to hear a neighbor, go buy a house!
I agree, however, that the prices are too high for this property. I leased during a special, but I can barely afford this place now and may have to look elsewhere. It is my understanding that Pat and Sandy do not set the prices - their corporate office does. I wish their corp office would honestly look at some of the luxury apartments in this area and realize their mistake. Harwood Hills is nice, homey, and well-maintained, but it is not like the new, upscale complexes in this area, but it is priced similarly. This makes no sense.
The crime rate here is just like my apartment complex in Euless was. It's very minimal compared to other areas, but if you expect Fort Knox, pay the extra to live in a complex with a security gate!
