I moved into Harwood Hills October 2005 after owning a home for 25 years and I must say that apartment living is definately different but you do adapt to all the little annoyances. This complex has the very least crime rate of any other complexes in the area and I personally think that the one way in, one way out contributes to this. All the trees make for a very relaxing atmosphere. And I have never had to wait more than a day for maintenance issues. Obviously many other people feel the same about this place because I have met people that lived here years ago and moved back.
I do agree that they have gotten pricey but what hasn't!
