I've been enjoying Oak Creek apartments since April. At move-in, my apartment was as clean as I requested and all the appliances work well. Everything on my punch list was rectified on time and the staff followed up to confirm. Maintenance requests have been timely and complete with follow-up from staff. KUDOS TO LARRY for keeping everything in working order with respect for my home and a smile - every time. The deadbolt lock broke once and I couldn't get out my front door. It happened over a holiday weekend, but was fixed within 18 hours. The inconvenience I experienced while being forced to access my home through the porch and/or window was nominal and now seems insignificant since Larry came to the rescue, again with a smile. HINT: If you require emergency maintenance, don't worry - Larry and the maintenance crew will get your message and make things right, regardless of how rude the after-hours operator can be. I'm not sure that person is located in Texas - just a person who answers phones somewhere.

My neighbors are quiet, respectful and friendly. The mature trees are a big plus with plenty of shade for most buildings. I enjoy the covered parking and most people honor our assigned spaces. The office staff has changed and they appear to be as competent or more so than the previous sfaffers. I encourage you to take advantage of as many social activities as possible. Management and staff really work at making us feel at home and being a part of a community, not just a tenant.

I would suggest to all the naysayers that they probably contributed to their own discomfort and disappointment while here at Oak Creek. Living in a multi-family community, one expects some noise and inconveniences. Such instances have been infrequent and short-lived. I would request that tenants and potential tenants remember that this is a huge complex with little more staff than complexes half the size and they seem to handle it very well.

We pay a lower rent than local competing properties, but it doesn't feel like a slum. Let's keep it that way! I look forward to years of enjoyment and safety here at Oak Creek.

Come in with realistic expectations, do your part, and you're likely to be pleasantly surprised. I was.
