There is not enough time to list everything that is wrong with the new management company. I moved here in October 2005 and LOVED IT. Then new owners took over in March 2006. They all have a serious paperwork deficiency and can't keep up with anything you give them, rent payments, work orders, receipts for previous rent payments they have lost, etc. In May, I put in a work order about my a/c. A few days later, I get a phone call at work and they said that they couldn't get into my apartment. The key they have does not work. I didn't get this at all. The key worked before. So later that day, I went into the office and asked if they had found my real key. I was told that I must have changed my locks. I said that I had not and I wanted them to come change my locks. I wasn't comfortable with the fact that somebody somewhere may have my key. Keep in mind, it was a pretty hostile take-over. They fired everyone. So Im thinking, what if a really pissed off maintenance man has my key, what if they have other residents keys. I had to argue with them to even get them to agree to change the locks, then it took 2 more days. I was shocked. I told them they should check everyone else's keys too, but they didn't feel it was necessary. About 3 weeks after that, I put in another service request and guess what happened, Yep, phone call at work, can't get in my apt. This time, after a 15 minute lashing and a call to corporate, they "found" the key. How was it misplaced in the first place' (Well, 2nd place).They have been "remodeling" for 5 months now, but I can't tell. They have not even finished painting yet. My building was used to test-paint different colors which should not have been that big of a deal. The first 2 times they painted, they did not send out notices, so everything on my patio was moved around and had paint on it. They painted so many times before they finally picked a color. My door was so thick with paint that it started to peel off in big sections. I told them that it needed to be scraped because of all the coats of paint. The next day I came home and it was re-painted but had not been scraped and it was already peeling again. Apparently, they don't care because it is still like that. I finally stopped asking about it. I have asked no less than 5 times to have my carpet re-stretched because my 11 month old niece is being injured by the tacks sticking up. Everyone I know that lives there is moving or has already moved. I finally got my renewal notice after asking for it for 3 days. They want to charge me 100.00 more a month and they only offered a 6 month lease so they can go up again. They have not even finished 1/4 of the remodeling and already they act like the complex is something to brag about. People that have lived there for 15 years are moving and I think that really sucks. The office staff is incredibly rude and totally incompetent. If I kept records the way they do (or don't), I would not have a job. I could go on and on, but it makes me angry to think about it. I'm moving out in 32 days and I can't wait!

wow! do you really have nothing better to do than cry about paint on something you don't even own? i'm sure the rude office staff has more to worry about than the paint peeling off doors.

Did you read the ENTIRE review before posting..If so, you would see that I am "crying" about much more than paint!
