This place is such a junk hole that I have been going through our lease to try to find a way out! We have had two incidences in the past 2 weeks at where the safety of the residents that live here are at serious risk.I called the manager (-----) this morning to tell her about everything that has been going on and all she could say is that OUR SAFETY IS NOT HER PROBLEM!!! At night it is extremely dangerous to walk out by yourself and there is piss poor lighting outside so it is the perfect place for dangerous situations. It is scary to walk around at night time. Cars are always broken into, so you never know what to expect when you are out there. When I had talked to the manager I had never been as disrespected as she was to me. I always pay rent and water on time, I am a good resident, and what do I get in return' A manager that cusses at me and tells me that the safety of the residents that live here are not her issue! It also takes days to weeks to get any maintence taken care of. And we have a major drainage issue outside that causes mosquitoes EVERYWHERE! It is so bad that the kids cannot go outside to play without bug repellant. Several residents have called the manager here to tell her about it over the past 2 years yet nothing has been done about it. The residents (not all of them) are horribul. You hear dogs crying all night to the point that it has woke my kids up in the middle of the night. You walk around the complex and can smell people smoking weed outside. It is disgusting, and the management is horribul! Not a place for family! Oh yeah and they jack up your rent EVERYTIME you renew your lease! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb

I hate this place as well! I completely agree that the management here is awful and completely RUDE! I would not recomment this complex or Forestwood (which is owned and managed by the same people) TO ANYONE! No one deserves to be treated the way the management does here. They do not deserve this job. If they want to disrespect someone in the matter that they do their residents then they need to work somewhere where that would be acceptable ~ NOT HERE!

I am very unhappy here as well. My husband and i have been in constant battle with the office staff to renew our lease and nobody in that damn place knows what the hell they are doing. It takes forever for someone to call you back if the even do. Everytime you call its let me take your name and number and ill see what i can do for you. then they tell you well i can make sure we get your lease to you on your door. Yea that never happened either. I AM SO DONE LIVING HERE! There is absolutley no customer service at all. Do not move here!

This place sucks. It may be safe, but it has gone down hill. Mosquitos are a problem due to the issues of drainage. There are also termites in some of the buildings. Everyone will see them in the pool during the summer. They are rude in the office. It is true that they don't know what they are doing. They jack up the rent everychance they can. I think the name of the management team is SHOW ME THE MONEY.

It has been raining in North Texas for the past 2 months, 16 days straight rain, Mosquito's are a problem everywhere. As for Termites anyplace can get those. I do not work here I just live here but Apartment complexes everywhere raise your rent when your lease is up. I don't think some of you live in the real world. If you hate it so much move.

Do not move here this place is horrible, they increase your rent every time they can, and nobody knows what they are doing, you can not get hold of the manager, every time you call them they are like I do not know but let me call you back and they never do. The manager does not care about your comments, I do not know how she is the manager, I hate this place.

My mother lives here, and the other day my husband and my nephew were sitting on the patio and they seen a group of young adults at the pool drinking and the girls had their tops off! mind you my nephew is 2 years old, how this stuff is allowed to go on I have no Idea!

EVERYTHING EVERYONE IS SAYING ABOUT OAK CREEK APTS FORMERLY KNOWN AS FORESTWOOD APARTMENTS IS SOOOO TRUE. This property is the worst! The management is horrible. Matter of fact who is the MANAGER hell the chance managers like I change underwear! The girls...because real woman know how to act in the office are very unprofessional. Right now if you walk this property there are buildings were the lights are out and you can't see ----. It is very dangerous and the laundry facility in this same area of the property has been out of order and also dark as hell. Me and my family leave for work early and its pitch black outside and were we have to park our cars. You can't even see when trying to get into your apartment. (going up and down the damn stairs) Very dangerous. The water is really hot at night. The cold water is not even on. The office has been informed but seem to not care. It's been like this for the last 4 weeks. And they didn't even bother to give us a notice letting us know that we were going to have some inconveniences of that sort. They hire people with backgrounds that are not safe to be wondering in and out of other peoples apartment homes. I am not kidding....this is real. I couldn't believe it either. They have residents that have dogs and don't keep them on leashes while out around others. Me and my children have gotten chased several of times. They also have dog ---- all over the property...you can go on a nice walk at all. They have alot of empty units which tells you people are moving the hell out of here!!! They have termites for real, roaches, and God knows what else. They patch up these apartments and call it a total renovation! Yeah right, you call painting tubs and the ---- peeling off while you take a bath a damn renovation!?! Nasty baseboards, doors that have openings you can see outside from inside the apartment, windows that don't have seal so cold air comes through, this place should be SHUT DOWN! I believe the management and owners are nothing but SLUMS! They want your money but don't wanna fix ----! I can't wait to move outta here. Oh yeah, about the teenagers smoking weed and ----....I have seen that too. I can't wait til my lease is up. They charge tooooooo much for this mess anyway. Don't even ask how much because everyone pays a different amount and it's ridicolous how much the differences are between the cost. Well hope you take my advice and do your research before moving into OAK CREEK APARTMENTS....IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE SOME OF THIS...THEN TRY CALLING THE BEDFORD POLICE AND SEE HOW MANY INCIDENT REPORTS, THEFTS, AND DISTURBANCES THIS PROPERTY HAS HAD. BE WISE NOT STUPID BECAUSE THE $99 DOLLAR TOTAL MOVE-IN SUCKED ME IN HERE AT A TIME WHERE EVERY PENNY COUNTED. I PRAY NOW FOR A BETTER PLACE TO STAY REALLY SOON. TAKE CARE!
