To be fair, these apartments are very affordable, and we have a friendly community in/near my building. But that's all I can really say that's positive. The units are old and have very thin walls. There are potheads sitting and smoking right out front - and the manager says he can't do anything about it. Our neighbor's apartment was robbed, and he was released from his lease because he is quite sure the maintenance guys did it, and hired a lawyer. Our motorcycle was stolen (and thankfully recovered). The leasing office won't accept packages. They also won't let you use the phone, even in an emergency. Our power was mistakenly cut off (our neighbor was the delinquent one), and we went to the office to try and call TXU because our cell phone was low on minutes. The guy said no, tenants cannot use the phone because, supposedly, a drug dealer once used the phone to make a deal. ('!) Not only was that a lame story, it was highly insulting. They also never open the pools, and maintenance is very slow and incompetent. I once filed a maintenance order because our AC unit wouldn't kick back on after it went off (on automatic setting). The maintenance guy literally left a note saying that he had fixed the problem by setting the unit to 'On'. Uhh.. it turned out to be a problem with the mercury, which was later fixed.
I do not recommend this complex at all. It's okay if you're looking for low rent and don't mind the ghetto. But we're out of here in 2010.

I see things have not changed there!!!! the management still SUCKS!!!!!! My wife and I used to live there and we were so happy to leave. I feel your pain!!! The office staff was the worst we have ever experienced.
