I previously worked at Shenandoah Village. I am not proud of it. The day before I started, I moved into an apartment here. I woke up the next morning to go to work and someone busted out my back windshield and stole my radio and speakers. During my employment I had to call the cops nightly, had numerous drug dealers arrested, had white trash family knockouts at the pool, huge rat and roach infestations, and 2 meth lab raids. When you move out I guarantee they will charge you to replace the entire carpet (even though it wasnt new when you moved in) and they dont even replace the carpet with the money they put on your credit. One resident's fridge went out and he didnt get a new one for 9 weeks! One building didnt have hot water for the first 2 months I worked there and they wouldnt compensate anyone's rent. If you have a maintenance request, dont hold your breath. And not because of the crew, but the crew cant fix anything without parts, and they dont have parts because the company is keeping all the money to themselves. Please save your time and money, there's a reason if someone is running a $99.00 total move in special and a one bedroom is $399.00.

Okay ma'am. Well let's see. To begin, yes, you did work here and yes, you probaly did have to call the cops. It is very sad when you are the one who ALLOWED the drug dealers to move in. Which are all EVICTED now. And the process for move in is a lot more strict. NOT just anyone can move to Shenandoah Village. As far as the OTHER company goes. THEY are under new management and the process of IMPROVING this awesome community is well under way. Most of the charges are for damages to the apartment homes that were caused by residents that you probaly moved in, without verifying all the information. One last thing, you should have seen the WAY you left your apartment. Unauthorized pet that tore up all kinds of stuff, INCLUDING the carpet!! Furniture and trash left everywhere. Talk about WHITE TRASH!!
So with that said, please come visit this community and see the changes in store, it is a BEAUTIFUL place to live. Just ask out long term residents. Which range in 3 to 7 to 9 years. Thank you!

Some of the "oh it's a great apt complex", "you don't know what you're talking about" replies make me wonder if it's the management posting replies to make it seem better..

Okay Sarah, let's get real here. Your property isn't a beautiful place to live. If you like living with roaches, and constant maintenance issues, then I guess you could consider it a great place. Don't lie and say that you got rid of all the drug dealers, and blame your former employee for the problem, the residents who move in are your responsibility, which is terrible, because you will turn a blind eye to everything. You have done nothing to make that place livable. In all reality that place should be condemned. Why are there always cops there Sarah, if you have cleaned the place out? I moved out about two weeks ago, and there were still cops there all of the time. You lie, and turn your back on the problems. I believe that you do charge people for things that they are not reponsible for. I paid a six hundred dollar pet deposit for my dog because he is a big dog. But, I talked to other residents with large dogs, Spirit, and they said the only paid three hundred. Also, some residents told us, Joe, that you will let them slide on rent sometimes, because they drank some beers with you. I left furniture and trash and some stuff in my apartment to, because is was dirty, and run down when I moved in, and I was verbally assaulted by your joke of a leasing "professional," Terry, who hangs up people who want corporate's phone number, and lies saying that you guys don't have it. Corporate, Heritage Ohio, informed me that that number is right there, within his reach. All the staff does over there is lie, and turn their backs on serious issues. The police department mind as well be on site. They are there all the time. Every time I had friends come over they were like what is up with all of the cops, they were always nervous around there. I couldn't even let my kid play outside there. I have seen needles laying around, and people being arrested. Stop lying to people to make them think that your place is a acceptable place to live. They were right, there is a reason for a 99 dollar move in. It matters where you lay your head, and your place isn't a place that anyone should want to do that. As soon as I moved out I started sleeping better at night due to the fact that I didn't constantly have to hear base, and doors slamming. Also, what happened to having my locks changed because your maintenance man stole from me? You did nothing you said that you would. Instead you ignored the problem. He came into my apartment between loads when I was moving out. My neighbour told me when I came by to get my last load. It was on a Sunday, when no one was working. There was zero reason for him to be up there. Why do you let the place to continue to be like it is? Why do you refuse to make changes? Probably because nobody over there cares about quality. I am a leasing consultant myself, and I know what is going on over there is unacceptable. In fact it is a joke.

After reading your complaint I beleive you because I just caught the leasing agent in a lie and sarah was covering up for her,and anyone that disagree's with my statement your statement, and others that makes these such similar complaints are misinformed, stupid,or low life scum in which are most likely saraha's friends that reside there. I thank people like you for making your statements known the best thing that could happen to this place is to get a new owner to build it up instead of bringing it down. It just aggrivates me knowing that places like the apartment association and the tennants union can not do anything to protect a residents rights espeacaily the communist home owners association.
