Buy a house with your money

My family and I lived in Shoal Creek for a year and a half. When we first moved in it seemed like a very nice, luxury apartment complex. The prices were steep, even with some current specials, but not outrageous. However, our electricity bill ran close to $300 every month and the water bill was rediculous. It went up every single month, and when the complex started running the sprinklers because of the warm weather, it went even higher. I don't think tenants are supposed to pay for sprinklers. We didn't get into trouble and we paid rent on time. But there were alot of people who got away with murder while they were very strict on others. It seemed to be, if you live close to an employee, then you'd better walk on eggshells. In the short time we were there the complex went downhill. And they have a security gate, but left it open all the time which defeats the whole purpose. For the cost you could make a house payment and not deal with wishy washy staff.
