After reading some of the reviews, I felt that I should write one. I have a friend that has lived in the complex for over a year and I have visited often. Everyone that I have met at the complex, including staff and residents, have been nothing but courteous to both my friend and I. From what I have seen the complex has been well maintained and quiet. Because of this, I am planning to move to Shoal Creek. I am leaving a complex because of dramatically increasing crime problems and dis-respectful neighbors. So I am looking forward to moving to a safer place. I have reviewed the Crime History Report at the Bedford Police Dept. and found Shoal Creek to be one of the safer complexes in the Mid-Cities. And believe me I have researched. Some of the other complexes nearby have twice as many responses from the police dept. Just as another reviewer said "You are living in an apartment." It is near impossible to find a complex with no crime. Just use common sense when it comes to safety. As for the woman assaulted by the hot tub... it's my understanding that it happened late at night. Although an assault is always a bad situation, I'm guessing that it probably wasn't random or else it wouldn't have been the only incident. My question is "Was she there with the person who assaulted her or was she alone'" I believe that women should avoid situations that could compromise their safety.
Anyway, I am looking forward to meeting other business professionals in the complex that want to encourage a neighborly, friendly, quiet place to live.
