Looks like they have yet 'another' manager in the front office. Plus another leasing agent has left and one of the maintenance guys left. Something is afoot.
It must be as if the Colonial Village mentality is that of never knowing what is going on. Something in a common area could be in disarray for weeks, yet when you go tell them you get a "oh, really'" - as if they had no idea that something could just as soon be hanging by a thread.
I've seen work requests take in excess of a week and multiple written requests.
Since the new property company has come in, the grounds are in a state of disarray and is generally unattractive. Maybe if the maintenance guy stopped loafing around in the office when the manager is not around, he might get something done within a reasonable turnaround.
Parking is a nightmare and people drive through the parking lot as if it were a race track. Skater kids are usually found congesting the parking lot, but don't expect the office to do anything about it.
If you pay for a covered spot, expect to come home to find it taken any time a storm comes through. By the time the office responds, the vehicle is gone and nothing is done - as some of these offenders are consistent. Just hope it doesn't hail.

Wow. Well at least I'm not the only one waiting for a very long time to get maintenance requests handled.
And how about the groundskeeping of late. It looks immaculate up near the office. Once you pass those gates the grass is shaggy and the shrubs are overgown and the trees keep on losing braches in windy weather because they haven't been pruned since who knows when. Since Colonial Property has come in, don't expect that shade tree that keep your apartment cool to be replaced when a tree goes down due to poor upkeep. Instead, you get the joy of a higher electric bill in the summer... just like a freshly wrapped present in your mailbox each month.
