We just went to look at these apartments yesterday and really like them. Brittany was nice and the apartment was what we needed for our family. We picked up an application on told Brittany we would be in touch with her. I really hope that these reviews are by several tenants and all speaking the truth because I have convinced my husband that we should not lease due to them. Thanks for the fore warning!!

I am resident here, very disapponted as well, and I agree there're lots of decent people living here but as I've spoken to quite a few, the word is generally "disappointment" w/ this place, I think that's why there seems to be such a big turnover of residents. Also, lately when I go for walks I've been noticing an increase in the amount of trash and dog waste around the property, I suspect this has something to do w/ the management not duly doing their job in keeping things in working order so some residents feel they don't need to clean up either so it's a loosing trend for everyone.

Good idea, not renting due to these reviews. This is a beautiful property, a lot of good people living here, and Colonial Properties is wrecking it by its big business beauracracy, not really caring about people, and nickel and diming them to death without caring for the property. Previously it was owned by CWS, a company that is impeccable in their word, and made this a really nice community. Not the case at all with Colonial.

Being a resident, I can say that 99.9% of the things I've read on here are true about the property in it's current state. That other 0.1% would the totally over the top praises.
In fact the groundskeeping has gotten worse, with shrubs and bushes growing out into the walkways as well as many trees weighing very heavy in need of pruning - it looks low rent.
It's nearly impossible to get them to answer the phone. I've been in the office while the phones are ringing and staff members are talking to each other. One of them will look over at the phone (which does have called ID) and go back to the conversation... yet once they saw I was there waiting, they hopped right up.
It really is a good location, but the management is letting it fall apart. Tin foil in windows and bbq grills on patios - both are in in violation of the lease. There is just no follow-up with anything other than getting people in the door to get their bonus each month.
I really hope thing change.
