Stay Away from Summer Stone!!!!

Worst apartment living experience I've ever had!
They're expensive for the quality of the apartments.
They charge you $50/month for water and trash, and the worst part is they couldn't explain how that was calculated!
The electricity bill is sky high.
You should look for $300-500/month range during winter time (and yes, we're in Texas!).
Don't expect maintenance people to fix anything for you.
For example, I reported the screen window problems at the time when I moved in.
They just came in and said "we're gonna replace these windows for you" and they disappeared.
They still hadn't replaced these windows when I moved out despite the fact that I complaint several times during my stay!

I am a current resident of summerstone and have been for 3 years. I have never had any problems like that and I have a family of 4 and my water is never that high a month the water is allocated(per occupants) My electric last month with me being a stay at home mom in their biggest 2 bedroom was only 86 dollars with green mountain. All my maintenance request have been taken care of properly and promptly with the new maintenance staff. I also know there is a resident that have been there almost 2 decades some 6 years some 5 some 10. They are nice apartment in my opinion and if you shop around Bedford you'll see the price are similar unless you willing to live in a lesser dwelling

I'm sure you must be one of the office staffs. What you said are pure lies. 86 dollar electric bills? Only in your dream!
And if you have a family of 4, you water bill will certainly be over $50!

I agree with the first response. I was referred here by my coworker and I am glad I moved here. This place is clean, looks nice and the landscaping is pretty. When I checked around this place was the best price for the quality. The inside of the apartments were redone and look nice. I know all my neighbors and they seem pleasant and never speak poorly of anything and a lot of them have in fact lived here for many years. The trash pick up service is convenient for me because of the hours that I work and I love the privacy of the fitness center and the new equipment. Most other apartment complexes have dirty old fitness centers and the equipment is usually broken. My water bill is around $20 which is the same as all the other places that I have lived and my electric bill has never reached over $160 depending on the season which is also the same as the other places that I have lived in HEB. You should always ask around and visit any place that you are thinking about moving to as a general rule of thumb before you move in.
