I had lived in this community for a full year 2000-2001. The staff had an attitude, was not helpful at all. Repairs were a nightmare, the apartments are not well maintained.



There is a constant mildew problem on the vents to the point that it grows out of the vents and move around the walls. The manager did not want to fix this problem and after a threat to complaint to the health department and get the media involved, she reluctantly sent someone, while I was at work. When I came home I found 2 well marked hand prints on my wall. Took a lot of effort to have the temperamental manager to approved the painting.



There is also a constant leak of water outside the property, that makes the are smell quite funny. They charge a cleaning fee before you move in and when one move in the apartment is not clean, the carpet is not new and as we all know, the old stains will resurface.



The apartment on the 3rd floor tend to be very hot specially on those with the balcony or patio converted into a den. The manager does not want to put in ceiling fans, (That room needs a lot of ventilation) it gets really hot during the summers and really cold during the winter. The electric bill comes in the upper 100?s. The windows in this room tend to leak when it rains...



The odors from food or smoke from the neighbors are a constant in ones apartment.


At the time of move out, they want to charge a lot of fees, from carpets stains to cleaning issues, eventhough one had clean the apartment through out.



The pool table can't be use during the weekend because, Jennifer, the leasing agent wants to go home to her mother early and she kicks everyone out, way before closing time. Not to mention her rude demeanor. But, what can one expect if the manager is worse'



In overall, I do not recommend this property at all. If you want the location, rent a home or check on the apartments next door. But do not waste your time nor energy moving to Village at Central PArk
