The apartments are nice and for the most part I have good neighbors. I have an upstairs neighbor who is really noisy -- and I know it does not have to be that way because she just moved in a few months ago...I never heard my old neighbor to the north.

The floor plans are open and the high ceilings make the room seem large and spacious. The bedroom closet is small--or I have too many shoes..not sure which.

The kitchen could use more storage space. If you have any appliances at all they fill up what storage space you have.

The staff is really nice and helpful--which you do not always get everywhere. Right after I moved in I had the Great Flood (my upstairs neighbor's hot water heater broke and flooded by apt.) Vanessa was really quick to get the problem under control and taken care of.

My biggest issue is with the Rent increase. My lease is up and my rent is going up $34.00 a month--which I feel is excessive as far as increases go. If my rent goes up like this again, I will be forced (financially) to move. It seems like tenants that have been with the property for a while, always pay their rent on time (or early) and take care of their business, etc. would be given some considertion when it comes to rent increases...but this is not the case.

I think you need to wake up and smell the flowers a little bit, I could be wrong though, depending on your situation. There's inflation out there, you know. After awhile, $34 bucks up isn't so bad, think of the people who bought real state in the past few years and lost their life savings now, that's devastating! This is a pretty nice, safe and affordable area as compared to other places around the country!

I think you are exactly correct in making sure your rent does not go up again. I lived at these apartments for 7 years and my rent never went up one time. I have just moved out and they have killed me on charges for everything. So I guess they get it one way or another. I too will add my disfavor for the moving out issues with this company.

He has a right to compain, apts. think they can go up every lease above and beyond inflation, they think no one wants to move too much of a hassle so thank god for moveforfree and the rest of them.
