Seems they want residents to pay for everything, all basic services and utilities are supposedly split up between the units and keep going up. The rehabbing of the buildings appears to be superficial, the buildings are still old. It might be nice if they spent some on insulating the 70's era construction.
They have no amenities to speak of, most places have a pool and a community room. The best thing is park next door and the Bedford police and fire departments are close. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk

I agree entirely. The majority of the advantages listed on their brochure are what is available at the Boys Ranch. The upgrades are not of a very high quality and the whole place has gone downhill in the last few months. All their previous long term tenants have been run off. Even tho the pool was drained several times last summer the missing tile and dangerously loose hand rail were never repaired. All in all I am very disappointed after living there several years.

I've lived here 4 years and it's definitely gone downhill lately, I'll be moving out once my current lease is up. All the quiet, long-time residents do seem to be moving out and being replaced with people that used to live at Windmill Terrace. The insulation is a joke, a $350/month electric bill for one person in a small one bedroom apartment during the summer is a bit steep, not to mention you can hear the new neighbors going in and out at all hours of the day, and hear them clear as day as they all prefer to salute each other with a certain racial slur..
And don't even get me started on the ants..
Thankfully my rent check wasn't one of the ones stolen last week when someone broke into the office in the middle of the night.. And rent is being increased due to the "improvements".. I'm going to improve by moving somewhere else.

The latest improvements, the big banners at the front and back facing the park really give it a ghetto touch of how desperate a position they have put themselves and residents in. The banner at the front of the property was up on the roof of the building by the mailboxes, that really gave it a 'professional' touch.
Yeah, it looks like those who choose to stay are in for a real treat, and the front office must have a revolving door for property management.
