I lived in two different apartments in my year and a half there. Here s what I had to deal with.

Feb 2006- early May 2006, Killed more then 60 Roaches. Made number of complaints, was told to bug bomb my apartment . Once I was in the Dominican Republic they came in and took care of the problem, yet left a mess in my apartment, tossed all the bug bomb cans they used in my trash and did not leave an entry note.

March 2006, Complaint of bees in apartment, I had to figure out where they came from after second complaint. Told the manager that they are getting in from under the door a gap that you can see through. Never was fixed

June 2006, Trash was not taken from dumpster for 5 days. I had to make a complaint.

Second Apartment

Still the same key used by last person that lived there.

Aug 2006, 3 weeks of complaining about the A/C not working. Taking 4 hours to drop 5 degrees. Finally once my A/C went out I had to make an emergency call to the office on a Friday night at 1800, it was 82 in my apt, left me with a window unit. Did not fix the unit till Tuesday, when unit was fixed a mess was left in my apt by the air handler (wires and what not left on the floor); air handler door was left open with the air filter on the floor, no entry notice. Energy bill was $225. Normal bill for that apartment is $127.

Sept 2006, 2 weeks went by and window A/C unit was in my apartment (one I used when my A/C went out), once it was taken from my apt by apt employee no entry notice was left.

Sept 2006, air filter for A/C unit was left hanging on my door.

Oct 28 2006, made complaint about the A/C not cooling again. Took 2 hours to drop 4 degrees. Don t know if it s been fixed yet, no entry notice.

28Oct -01 Nov No trash pick up, dumpster has been overflowing since Saturday. All other dumpsters in apartment complex are full.

Trash is a constant problem!

February 2007 A/C went out again, took 2 days to fix.

Feb 2007, told manager that my front door was warped. I was told it was a door meant for the inside and not the out side. Never was fixed.

June 2007 A/C went out again. Problem is something I had warned them about back in August, Sept, Oct 2006 and again in Feb 2007. But they never fixed it so the fan blade in the A/C unit came apart. Took 2 days to fix.

Place is owned by people that are cheap, really cheap. Beeville Oaks is a good example. A/C units are about to fall apart, that have to be at least 7-9 years old. The very few new ones that are put in are super cheap, low grade units. I have been in the HVAC business for a few years so being able to tell cheap from good and what s needs to be fixed is simple to me.

If you want a clean apartment when you move in good luck; you ll have to clean it once you move in. Fans tend to rock and make lots of noise.

My favorite, there was a handicapped person. That person had problems making it to the bathroom. Well when they left the apartment keep the carpet and cleaned it so many times that they could have just bought new carpet.

Beeville Oaks is one of the nicer places in Beeville, but that s not saying much. Over all id give it a 5 out of 10. The one maintenance guy they have and the manager are nice. The owners take their money and leave it at that.
