I have lived here for 1.5 years and I still love it. I had been looking for a quiet and new complex with affordable pricing and I found it here. I was lured in when the complex had their grand opening. They offered a drawing for 6 months free rent, washer/dryer, and other items. I was the lucky one to get the 6 months free rent. First of all, what complex does that' I thought that they would pro-rate the 6 months free rent over the contract. Nope, I paid nothing for 6 months. Not a bad deal. What other complex gives you money for having the best Holiday lights display on your balcony'' Most complexes do give you rewards for referring other people to live in the complex, but this one gives you $500 with a drawing for $1500. That's awesome! They always have socials at Fox & Hound for the residents too. I love that this complex tries to get all the tenants to participate in events and socials.

They are tolerant of pets too. I had a caged animal and didn't have to pay a pet deposit. A lot of complexes would charge me $150-$300 for a caged animal!! I think tenants need to do a better job of picking up after their dogs though.

The management really does care about the tenants. I've had to call to ask them to make sure my garage was closed and they had no problem going out and checking. I've also had to call and ask them to lock my apartment before and they did it right away for me.

I think the most important thing the management does is enforcing the rules and city ordinances. A city ordinance does not allow propane tanks on balconies or within a set distance from the units yet a lot of tenants had them. The management wrote a letter to all tenants reminding them that propane tanks are not allowed on balconies and I think some people were upset. It's a city ordinance! It's in place for safety reasons. If you can't take that, go get a house! Someone tried to "hide" it underneath a staircase. Hellooo! I totally turned that in. I think if anything, it's the tenants that are stupid, not the management.

Chris907 you are stupid! This is an open forum and not all good posts come from management. I'm sure there are some that management post to try and even it out, but not this one. I was there when she won the 6 months free rent. I was happy for her, but I wanted the free rent! Oh and she's right about Fox & Hound. . . . Margaritas here I come!! I've got to know so many of my neighbors at Fox & Hound. My favorite ones moved back home (up north) when their job here was done. I do miss them so much! I say steer clear of chris907 and take a drive after the office closes. I always do that before I rent anywhere. It lets you know what it's really like.

Note the "tenants...are stupid" quote, and realize that this is a marketing post by management. Recommend skipping this complex.Renters can find other nice places that are less abusive and believe in our constitution. Remember also that management is NOT in a position of authority over you--in fact, you are a consumer of a service they offer. If you do not get a warm customer service feeling when you meet a complex's manager, MOVE ON! Don't even bother paying an application fee, as that is a nonrefundable money maker that locks you into accepting one-sided contracts.
