Lived here for a few months and have been insulted by the management team several times. Contract turns tenants to prisoners, no way out of lease and all kind of fees in management's favor. My lawyer suggested to organize a TENANTS ASSOCIATION to get rid of a management. For now I read www.texastenant.org to record all the problems.

55bob5,
I believe you have gone way over the edge. I am surprised that you do not understand that it is this way at any apartment complex you go too. In the state of Texas, the only way out of a lease is to be called to active duty by the military. Do not put ideas in peoples head that it is just this community. I love it here and they have done nothing but keep this community beautiful. I am sure you are only upset because they made you keep the contract that YOU signed and agreed too.

i am moving in in september and really excited. it seems like a great place. i have lived in 8 different apts over the last 10 years and yes, EVERY apartment complex has a contract. and sticks to it. that's what a contract is for. if you sign a contract, then you have to stick to it, or receive consequences. to go as far as to complain about something you signed and agreed to is quite ridiculous to me.

Seems to me the original poster is concerned with the one-sidedness of the contract and the hostility of the staff, which I've experienced also. DON'T RENT HERE...as you can see above, management is so bad that the staff must post personal attacks on unhappy tenants.

Sorry, a contract is a contract, and you didn't have to sign in. I may be in a position where I have to move and break my lease early for a new job. Oh well, gonna have to pay some fees, but I understood that before I signed. It's gonna hurt, but they aren't asking for any more than what I agreed to when I signed the contract. i still love this place. The best apt complex I've lived in. Resident for almost 3 years. Staff members aren't posting here. Geesh, somebody is bitter.
