I moved out of Victorian Quarters almost 2 months ago and I have been waiting for my deposit ever since. I had to call them to find out what I had been charged for. Two of the charges were fine but they charged me for 4 sets of blinds being replaced. They claimed my dog chewed them up...he's an older shih tzu with no teeth and he couldn't reach the blinds if he wanted to. They charged me a "concrete cleaning fee" for pet damage. I lived on the 2nd floor there is no concrete on the 2nd floor. When I asked to see proof of these charges as well as receipts, all of a sudden it was a "typo" for one and a missing charge on another. They claimed the carpet cleaning company forgot to charge them for the concrete cleaning. And they told me that it was the apartment across the hall that had a dog chew on the blinds just before they moved out. My neighbors across the hall still live there and they don't even have a dog. After I got all of that back as a credit to my account which was the first week in July, I am STILL waiting to be refunded. I have called and called and called and was told today that it was in fact mailed to the wrong address even though they have my correct address on my move out statement and I gave it to them over the phone twice. Now I have to get a lawyer and sue them because I haven't received my refund. In short, DO NOT rent here. I truly feel like they are a shady management team and will charge you in anyway they can. The security is also a horrible problem. Despite the fact there have been several car break-ins, the gates continue to remain open all day. They also allow dogs over the weight limit and never replinish the doggie bags.

I completely understand that you are frustrated with the situation and you have the right to be. I would encourage you to call me to discuss the issue. Please know that we are working toward resolving the mistake of sending the deposit to the incorrect address at this time. Thanks, ---------------

Hey Anonymous, a.k.a --------------- from the signature, don't you know the rules on apartment ratings? If you are the regional then maybe you should appreciate your residents desire for privacy. Did you ever stop to think that maybe the person posting the review doesn't want her name known? How rude can you be?! If you had read the rules on Apartment Ratings you would know that you cannot be personally identifying in your post or response. Of course I only did because you put your name out there several times. Have some respect and don't post your residents' name just to prove you know who is posting. Why don't you contact Orix the owners. Their main office is in Dallas phone # 214-237-2000. I'm sure they would love to know how Greystar is handling their property.
