Lots of problems at Camelot

For one, the apartments are built RIGHT ON A CREEK (actually TWO creeks) and during very heavy rains, it floods the place badly. My car was flooded once. The plumbing stops up often and floods your apartment (they don't cover your damages at all). A lot of college students live there and make a lot of noise with their partying (those fine, upstanding Howard Payne Christian students). The walls are very thin. Lots of cockroaches and termite damage. Too many more problems to mention here, but I will mention that the manager can be a real b--ch.

I have lived here for 4 years and never had a problem with flooding. Southside Apts are much much worse on that aspect. I have never had plumbing issues, though the hot water heater has given me trouble and they did compensate me on the electric bill. Are you talking about the new manager (Michelle) or Kathryn (who has passed away)? I've gotten along with both. I will agree with you on the noise issue although my neighbor isn't close to college age...I just bang on the wall but management advised me to call the police if it got too rowdy.

I've found that no matter where you live, the noise is often unbearable. No one should ever have to bang on their walls. If you call the police, there's a good chance of retribution. It's the price we pay for living in apartments where they never even thought of putting an extra wall between units when building them. Or non-slammable doors. So many people these days (especially the younger ones) were never taught to respect others.
