No real problems.

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005
I lived at Aggie station from the summer of 2003 to the beginning of the fall 2005. My roomates and I were some of the first people to move in because these apartments were brand new. When we signed our lease in Feb. 2003 there weren't even walls in our apartment.
Because we were the first, we ran into some construction issues. The foundation of the building was still shifting, so many of the doors began to stick, or swing open or closed. But maintenence was always great about coming in and shaving down the door or door jam time after time. They ended up putting a big rubber strip across our front door because a gap formed. There were a few water leaking issues around my roomate's window, but it didn't cause any real problems.
There really weren't any bug problems... the occasional spider or roach... but come on, this is Texas.
The front office staff was always very nice to myself and my roomates. They were willing to work with us if we had any problems and always asked how things were going if they saw us walking around the complex.
There was a Bryan PD officer that lived in the complex while I was there, and he would stop by if we were cooking on the grill or hanging out outside and chat with us. He was always walking around the complex at night.
The complex is not gated, but I never heard of any car burglaries while I was there. Parking for residents was never really a problem, and there are designated areas for visitors, and those fill up on weekends. The only crimes I heard of were a couple of "kick door" burglaries while most of the students where away on spring break in 2004, and there were quite a few bikes being stolen from the racks all the time.
I never used the pool much, or the hot tub. But my neighbors where in both pretty much constantly. The work out room was sufficient most of the time. They really don't have much equipment. The only real issue I had with it was that even though we had to have key cards to get in at any time, they locked up the building completely from midnight to 8am.
Overall I would recommend Aggie Station. It's very close to campus. It's on a shuttle route. And it was just a nice place to live.
