I enjoyed the apartment and thought it was a good deal for the price.
However, I moved in the apartment in January signing a six month lease.
Apparently they had just sent letters asking tenants if they wanted to renew their lease.
This option was not presented to me when I signed my lease.
I called them a little over a month before my lease was up to see what was going on since I never saw anything advertised.
To my dismay, they had sold the apartment out from under me without ever communicating with me about renewal.
I might not be as upset had they not lied, telling me they left notes on the door and mailed letters to me, neither of which ever happened.
Also, the apartment was left in very nice condition, but I received NOTHING of my deposit back.
This has also happened to several of my friends, so you are taking a chance if you stay here.

Did you find out WHY you did not get your deposit back? Did they just not return it or come up with bogus fees in order to keep it? If they did not return any at all without a reason why, you may have grounds for legal action to get back triple the amount.
