I lived here a few years ago when I attended Blinn. I didn't have a car, and I walked to class every day, which was nice. I was new to the city, and was thankful that they had individual leases available for a good price. In a 4 bedroom, the price you pay was $270 which included extended cable, water and gas. This is very cheap, even though they make a lot per apartment. The electric was about $15 per person/per month. If you know 2 or 3 other people and you want a good deal, this is a good option. Never had a problem with neighbors or noise, except from occasional construction. The rooms were a bit small, but each had their own locks. They also have a symmetrical floorplan with 2 bathrooms on each side, sharing a kitchen and a dining area.
Just make sure you know your roommates, because coming home to a loud party with the other 3 roommates isn't too fun.
Parking does suck for guests. I don't think there was a single time i DIDN'T see a tow truck outside.
The management was pretty nice, although it changed while I was there, as I am sure it has recently.
