I lived in the large 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment from 2000 to 2001...around a year and a half. For the price you pay, you get a fricken HUGE apartment. I have yet to find an apartment this big in bcs. The management at the time was pretty rude, but they got the nicest management there right before I moved...too bad they couldn't have been there the whole time. The floor plan was great...the two bedrooms are all the way across from each other and each has their own bathroom. The grounds are kept very nice and so is the pool. It is a very quiet neighborhood; we were one of the only college kids that lived there at the time. The maintenance staff was always great...very nice and always prompt. My one problem with this apartment is that the a/c system does not circulate well at ALL! One bedroom would be freezing and the other was burning up. I lived in the inferno bedroom. It was so bad during the mid-summer months that I actually had to go sleep in my roomate's room because it was unbearable in mine. And then in the winter time i froze, while her room was always toasty. We had a huge electirc bill because of this. Around 150 a month. The management said that this was a flaw in the design of the air duct system and closing off vents around the apartment was the only thing i could do. My car and about 4 others also got broken into while I lived there. There was about 4 or 5 other apartment complexes in the area that were also hit that night. Overall though, this apartment was a great one. I really do miss it. If you are planning on moving into a two bedroom here...make SURE that you get the bedroom that is closest to the a/c unit in your house. This will be the one that will stay at a normal temperature.
