Lived here May-Dec. 2004 and enjoyed it. We found the staff very friendly and maintenance responsive. The tenants were quiet. Occasional loud car in the parking lot but not much and we always felt safe. We left out on foot early mornings to run in the lovely neighborhood behind the complex and always felt safe.

It's far enough away from the big university that you are not surrounded by loud college students. I never thought the close proximity to the junior college was a factor at all. I noticed lots of older tenants and families.
