The management had a lease until June 1, 2009 on a one bedroom for my son going to college. Guess what - you have to give them 60 day notice before the end of your lease or you pay 1086.00 for not informing them outside of the 60 day window. If you have a signed lease dated June 1st wouldn't you think that was the end of your contract' Hmmm management sure likes to screw people at this run down piece of junk apartment. DO NOT LET YOU'RE CHILDREN STAY IN THIS DREADFUL PLACE....

| Brookside informs all applicants upfront that a 60 day notice to vacate is required in writing to properly vacate your apartment home. We do not assume a resident is going to move out unless they actually give us a written notice. If we did that, we would end up leasing apartments that our residents had no intention of moving out of. Every new resident receives a copy of their TAA lease as well as a notice in advance that their lease contract is going to expire-giving them plenty of notice to give management proper notice to vacate. | |

I've never lived at Brookside, but I've never heard of any apartment manager wanting anything less than 60 days notice. At my place, I need to give at least 3 months notice. How the heck can management pre-lease otherwise? Ms. Wilson needs to wake up to reality.
