Great Place to Live

We moved into a one bedroom apt at the end of March and just transferred into a 2BR/2Ba apt. We had one or two issues in our old apt. and several in the apt. that we are currently in, but as soon as we reported it, the maintenance staff was right on it. We have found that both the management staff and maintenance staff are friendly, curteous and respond quickly to any and all issues.
The apt complex is older and not everything is new and shiny, but you can always go for the upgrades (plank flooring vs. carpeting) and they really do make a big difference. The landscaping is great and well maintained. Lots of mature trees, flowers/plants, little courtyards to sit in, grills to use, swimming pool, etc...
The management has planned activities about 2x/month that you can attend, if you desire and they actually are fun and it is a great way to meet your neighbors.
As this is a "College Town" we weren't sure what to expect, but so far, no loud parties, unruly tenants... you drive around town (either Bryan or College Station) and see many, many apartments that you would NOT want to live in.
This is the first time that we have had to rent for 20 years and for your money, can't beat it!
