So many things wrong (a/c, termites, structure problems, etc)

The first apartment at The Grove was horrible! It had some major cracks in the walls that started from the first floor up to the second floor. The extended area upstairs was not level. I am talking about very noticeably non level. When walking on the extended area, you could feel the slope and our furniture was leaning. You could place a pen on the nightstand and it would roll off. The pillars holding up the extended second floor had shifted. We asked for a building inspector bc we felt the apartment was not safe. They never sent a building inspector and just transferred us to another apartment. They personally told us they would have the building inspected before moving more tenants in. Now they have rented out the same apartment. It makes me very uneasy to know that they do not care about the safety of their tenants. A few feet from our apartment, a tree fell over due to termites. We confronted them about the termites and they stated the tree was just "old." The leafs were green and the bark was hollowed out from termites. It doesn't take a rocket science to look at the tree and see termites had been eating away at the tree. If the tree had termites, then it was very likely the surrounding apartments had termites.

The a/c in the same apartment ran non-stop. It only kicked off in the morning for about 10-15 minutes and ran all day. It also did not cool. We requested it to be fixed and the maintenance man told me "It's getting hot and it will seem like it runs nonstop." I know the a/c will run quite a bit in the summer but it should kick off from time to time.

When they say unique plans. They are not joking. Most of the apartments are SOOO nonfunctional! We had square footage in the living room but no functional way to place our furniture. There was also NOOO storage.

Our second apartment is a lot better as far as structure, and functional living space, storage. But as soon as our lease is up, we are moving out. If the management does not care about the safety of their tenants, they are not someone I want to rent from.
