I lived at Quail Hollow from August 2000 through May 2002. I did have a good experience with our place and our management. Yes, the dishwasher was old and should have been changed, but other than that we didn't have any significant problems. When we moved out, we had no issues with management and got our deposit back. I am reading about the security issues, and while I didn't experience that when I lived there I do hope they have made the place safer.
