Alright, alright...So I've read some reviews about this place and 9 times out of 10 they're not so pleasant, but let's look at what this place offers before we dog it any more. Some of the fastest internet connections in the area, true wood furniture and doors, and solid walls (I can't even hear my room mate in his room at night and sometimes that's a good thing isn't it roomy'). On top of that, a nicely sized room with, get this, a box-spring mattress for your bed (this is something not even Aggiestation, Cabridge, Callaway, or even the Exchange can offer you). Melrose won't even furnish your room without making you pay an extra $50. All in all this place isn't the pits...Actually it's quite enjoyable even for the people like me who don't like to party much. I haven't had many problems with the place. Now I will say though that some of these new policies that have come into effect over the recent days have bothered me quite a bit. For example the placement of only one trash dumpster in the entire apartment complex all the way on the OTHER SIDE of the complex. Also the fact that about a week ago I encountered 4 squad cars in the complex and two officers walking out of one of the building with latex gloves on. THAT right there makes me feel REAL secure about where I live, lemme tell ya. Other than that Campus Lodge is alright in my mind. I enjoy the staff, they fix my problems (or atleast try), two of the CAs live in my building and are some of the nicest girls I know.
