I read the reviews before moving and thought that all these bad review were just a few bad events but no. from the moment i moved in it's been litterally HELL!. My first incident was when the people in our building had the cops called for a drug/weapon bust and had people thrown against our wall. The management switched my room assignment without me knowning or asking my permission.
They do NOTHING for roommate problems. (you have to pay $150 to move to another apartment) to get out of your lease you have to pay 85% (about $365) of your monthly rent (0ne time fee) AND find a sublease. The carwash is a JOKE!-it's not a carwash. The vaccum cleaners say on for 1 min/.50 IF it comes on at all.
The Garbage dumpsters are in BFE. there is no parking for your visiters and you have to worry about your friends' cars being towed if there is no parking.
our a/c broke and it took two weeks and us complaining daily to fix it. (they said they fixed when they really just stuck it on 55 degrees and left, so it ran up our electricity).
The pool looks nice but dont be fooled it usually has a green tint to it and is covered with beercans at the bottom. The fitness room is horrible (they dont run the a/c).
Ive been here for almost a year and they have yet to fix some of the things we put on the move in list. And the move-in condition was horrible (it took me hours to clean my bathroom from the previous tenant.
Hit and runs are so bad that i wake up every time i hear a car squeal through the parking lot to make sure my car is not hit. People PARK HORRIBLE. and speed thru the parking lot, i've almost been hit in my car and walking uncountable times from people speeding around corners.
There are blood stains everywhere on the concrete and fist marks in all of the doors to my apartment.
This place has looked into every way of screwing students over and put it into their lease.
This is only about half of my experience....If you move in after reading all these complaints, your bad time living here is your fault!

Although I cannot comment on the issue of repairs, I can comment on some other hyperbole in this review.
I walk daily from my apartment, which is located near the middle of the apartment grounds, to the bus stop. Not once have I nearly been hit by any drivers. Although some people do tend to drive quickly through the parking lot, this is nothing out of the ordinary compared to any other parking lot I have been in with college aged drivers.
As for blood stains and fist marks on doors, well, during my daily walks I frequently see a decent portion of the grounds. I also have friends who live in a different building, so I must walk to their apartment, a different route than what takes me to the bus stop, when I want to see them. Through neither of these routes have I ever seen any blood stains anywhere. I have also never seen any first marks of any kind on anything on the grounds.
The parking situation is correct, though I feel there is more parking available here than what my old complex offered (Aggie Station). It should also be understandable that if a visitor parks in a spot that is not clearly marked for visitors, they should be towed.

I was the same - when I moved here and read the bad reviews I thought it was just a certain type of resident that complained....until it happened to me. If I had paid attention to the reviews I would have never moved here and would have been better off.
