This complex is actually lovely---they are advertised as luxury apartments and they DO have some REALLY great features (i.e. membership to Aerofit is included, washers/dryers in every apartment, awesome landscaping with lots of trees, garden bathtub).

In the end, however, all the lovely amenities cannot overcome one SERIOUS and MAJOR FLAW---the office service/staff. Yes, they are nice and totally polite, but they are almost completely NON responsive to work order requests and even simple matters---such as how to set up the water bill!

When I first moved in, I asked the office girl what the water bill was like (price, etc.). Her response: "Hmm, I am not sure. I have never received a water bill because I don't think it was ever put in my name. I know they are yellow, but in the 6 months I've lived here, I haven't been charged yet, so I don't know." THIS COMMENT WAS FROM THE OFFICE STAFF. They were also completely ignorant as to how to deal with problems setting up the cable & had no clue how to set up DSL service (which is advertised as a unique feature of the apartments---"lines for high speed internet access").

Basically, I have learned two things--- 1)NOT to even bother asking the apartment complex office staff because they seem to know very little about the apartments here, utilities or anything besides how to take my HUGE rent check each month (they are good at that) and 2) NEVER EVER EVER leave a message on their answering machine. They do NOT respond to messages left on their machine nor do they really ever return phone calls or respond to work orders unless you actually GO INTO THE OFFICE and make sure that they write up the work order for any repairs.

After more than 5 messages, I have yet to receive any evidence that any maintenance work has been done on a number of work orders I have tried to turn in regarding kitchen appliances and plumbing problems. Even if they HAVE actually come in to fix it, I have not seen ANY documentation left by ANY repairmen (which is technically a VIOLATION of the lease on their part if someone is coming into my apartment without leaving a note).

Additionally, the apartment complex "manager" is only available on some afternoons and always seems to be at "shareholders" meetings or things like that. The other office staff always says that they have to "check with her" and of course, no one ever gets back to me about it if they ever do actually "check with her." (I sometimes wonder if she is a mythical creature, myself, since I have never seen this "apartment complex manager." Not real convenient if she only shows up in the afternoon when I WORK 9am-5pm.)

Finally, one minor, annoying feature of these nice "luxury" apartments----the plumbing makes a HUGE clicking noise that can even wake me up in the middle of the night when people upstairs take showers or run water (I guess because pipes are so new'''). I still am not sure about the nature of this problem.

Overall, this has the potential of being an AWESOME apartment complex. I just wish the staff has some sort of clue. The maintenance guy is really nice to talk to and when I've seen him in person, he is quick to respond, but the office staff just doesn't get the job done.

Maybe it is because they think I am a silly college kid who doesn't care or who has "daddy" pay for everything, but I am not. I work nearly 40 hours a week AND go to graduate school and I'd just like to be able to leave a message that my sink is clogged and expect to have at least someone within a WHOLE MONTH come look at it. Is that too much to ask''''

I've WORKED as part of an apartment complex office staff. From this experience, I know that service is everything and while the amentities might be luxurious, the service is NOT. Sadly, although these apartments are lovely, I cannot recommend them.

PLEASE NOTE: I will be happy to update this review if service improves. I really hope that it does get better because, as I said, this place COULD BE really great!
