I moved into ROG in October '06, had only 2 weeks to find a place (work move) and it advertises itself to be a good pet-friendly place. Well, within a week, the lady below me complained of my mini-schnauzer barking at all hours. She forgot to mention that she was feeding wild cats and her cats had taken to staying in the stairwell and on my patio area, where my dogs could see them. Thankfully, ROG management allowed me to transfer to another building.

This is when the REAL trouble starts. I'm told I will be in a 1 BR on the first floor. The DAY of my move, I find someone else living in that apartment. Apparently, ROG overbooked. I was given a 2nd floor 2BR to "mediate" their mistake. Well, the walls are so thin that I could hear everything my neighbors did. Seriously, my mother visited me one weekend and just about died when she could hear someone else using the bathroom (not flushing, ACTUALLY heard the ACT). I've heard neighbors having sex, arguing, and lifting weights. My personal favorite moment (sarcasm) is when the guy above me (engineering major) was working on a construction project and dropped a 5 pound piece of equipment. My living room lights were knocked out of the ceiling. Nice, huh'

That being said, the maintenance man(Cedric) does the best he can; however he spends his time between this complex and the other property managed in town. The day he was supposed to replace my lights, he was called over there because of an extreme water pipe burst.

This complex was poorly built and it shows immediately upon move-in. As soon as my lease was up (all leases end in May) I found a lovely townhome from a local real estate company.
