The units are nice, maintenance is nice, and the grounds are nice. However, after living there a year I have concluded the slightly nicer units and grounds are not worth the extra money it will cost you to live there. I recommend living at a place slightly less nice at a much lower price. They raised our monthly rent $70 in one year, from $640/month to 710/month for a one bedroom/one bath for me and my husband.
Management is a nightmare. They're dumb and mean which is the worst combination on earth. Dumb, okay. Mean, okay. Dumb AND mean, watch out.
When you go to tour the place they stick your nose up at you if you're not dressed well. They wouldn't even let my husband and I tour when we came in shorts and t-shirts saying they were too busy, and when we came back the following week at the same time dressed well, they were happy to help.
We thought the snootiness was simply until you signed a lease, but it continued. Not a fan of snobbiness.
The fitness center always has at least one of the four machines out of order for weeks at a time.
Debra in particular, the office manager, is a nightmare. Here's an example. One day when dropping off rent I notice a dozen red roses in a vase on her desk. I said, trying to be nice, "Wow, someone likes you a lot." She responded smartly, 'Yeah, well he's lucky to have me.' What a weirdo!
