Before I moved in, I have two deposits--one was when I applied, the other was when I moved in. After 1-yr stay there, I moved out last month, I just got my move-out statement, they kept all the deposits. I called them, they told me they did not have my first deposit. They said they don't have a record of it unless I showed them a proof. Wow, that's hillarious.

No one can keep your deposit unless you trashed out the unit. Get a life.

I'm not surprised! 4 months after we moved out I still hadn't received a move-out statement..so I called to ask about it. They sent me an outrageously high amount for stained carpet and I had to remind them that the carpet was so badly stained before we moved in that they had given us discounted rent. I swear the management there never made it past the 6th grade.
