When we moved in there was construction dust on everything because the place had just been built. I spit-shined that place when i moved out. It was way cleaner than when i moved in. My daughter who was two at the time wrote on a small section of one of the walls with a crayon and a pen the folks went through with "white gloves" the only thing they could find was marks on one of the walls. They said they would have to hire someone to paint over it but they can't paint just a little they have to paint the whole thing or none at all. So now i'm waiting to see just how much I am going to get billed for a contractor painting the entire apt. They said if the 250 deposit doesnt cover it then i will get a bill in the mail. Not to mention the Electric bill being $400 a month. Poor construction methods.

I am the one who posted the review about our electric bill being $400 a month. I wanted to comment that our apartment was absolutely filthy when we moved in. There was dust/dirt on everything and clumps of dried dirt on the shelves in the bathroom and pantry. We had to have our movers put all of our belongings in the middle of the apartment so I could go around and clean everything. Nothing could just be put away, because of how dirty it was. This should have been the first red flag.

Just wait until you see their policy of charging you $50.00 just to do the paper-work to check you out! I have leased 15 apartments in several states and never ran into this policy before . Can you just imagine how much this small city apartment collects in revenue in a year's time !!

I just posted the last comment and wanted to clear up that Tammy is the one that cursed in spanish at my wife when she went to turn into our keys. They are just totally unprofessional.

I was a resident at Burkburnett Residences for a year while stationed there and was very pleased with the management and apartments. They were really nice, helpful and would respond to any issues with quickness and agility. Ms.Ellie was probably the most kindest and nicest person i have every meet. I wish there was more people like her out there cause the world might be a better place. She was extremely professional and always there if there was a problem concerning my apartment. Ms. Tammy was really nice and helpful and you could tell she had been in this profession longevity due to her professionalism. The apartments are really nice and by far the best in the area. They are fenced and have police officer on call 24hrs a day. If I am stationed here at Sheppard, I will most definitely get an apartment again. I recommend these apartments. MSSGT
