Canyon Creek apartments are some of the nicest available in Canyon. It is in a nice neighborhood and has attractive grounds and a nice pool. It's located next to a nice park, but the kids who play there can get noisy during the day. The parking is ok, but there are no covered areas. My biggest complaint for the external experience is the dog and cat droppings everywhere. They usually keep it of the sidewalks, but it is all over the grass. I think I'm one of the only residents on my side of the complex who does not have a pet. If you don't care for dogs and cats, I would recommend avoiding these apartments.
My particular apartment is great inside. I did opt. for a remodeled one with new ceramic tile, counters, and appliances. I can't vouch for the cheaper apartments that aren't remodeled. There is decent closet space, a convenient pantry, and outside storage closet. The maintenance staff is helpful, but a little slow to respond. They get the job done though. My biggest problem inside has been a leaky roof. Not a gusher, but it dripped and stained the roof in three places. I called to have it looked at yesterday, but no one has come by yet. Other than that, it's very comfortable. I love the fact that my bedroom has an outside wall. This is the first apartment out of 4 in which I haven't had to listen to everything my neighbor does in the bedroom.

The office staff has always been friendly and understanding with problems and payments. Overall, I've had a good experience at Canyon Creek.
