If you move here, keep records of EVERYTHING! They changed management in the middle of our lease and I think some of our deposit was "lost" in the transfer - can?t prove it though. Also, they put a nice little flier on our door in October letting us know we needed to pay a late fee for rent paid in June - we had made arrangements to pay rent late and paid the late fees we were supposed to pay, but apparently they lost that paperwork too. Somebody tried to steal our car (causing more than $1200 in damage) while we lived there, and the front office did nothing to notify other residents. Don?t expect front office staff to return your phone calls about anything (even renewing your lease), and don?t expect any service when you walk into the front office (unless you want to wait 20 minutes). Don?t expect prompt service if something breaks in your apartment - the front office seems to lose that paperwork too. Don?t expect the grounds to be maintained - the lights by the mailboxes burned out once for more than two weeks making it pretty scary (and difficult) to get mail at night. The air conditioning went out in the gym for what seemed like forever and the equipment left something to be desired. Parking in our area of the complex was difficult and some of it wasn?t lit at all. Don?t expect to get any of your deposit back, even if there is only normal wear and tear and you scrub it floor to ceiling before you leave. They charged us $75 for a pet treatment for the carpet when I only had a bird (in a cage). We didn?t do the walk through (never heard about it until after we complained about not getting our deposit back), but I strongly recommend that anybody living here do it when you?re moving out. We honestly didn?t think there would be a problem because we have always gotten our full deposit back everywhere we have lived. If you decide to move here, check to make sure your furniture will fit inside the door - ours isn?t oversized at all and it took a lot to get it in because of a wall right by the front door. Someone who keeps really good records of everything they say and do and doesn?t mind waiting around forever for service might be okay here. The apartments are reasonably nice, but don?t expect much from anything else.
