I lived in Autumn Chase apts for 4 years. The floor plans are great, but everything else sucked! I started coming down with an illness and could not get well. I spotted black mold on my ac vents and called maintenance. They came out and told me it was just insulation blowing out. They covered it with spray paint and went on their way. It kept coming back. Had a new neigbor move in under me and she broke her lease because of the mold. I will never recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay healthy! The drip pan in the shower was holding water with live wires. Very dangerous. The faucets were drippy and the garbage disposal never worked right. When it would rain, my ceilings would pour! The ac constantly broke and several times a week, would flip the breaker. Therefore the ac would run constantly and it would be 90 degrees in my home. The people under me would leave for a day or two and their dog would yelp and bark, literally nonstop from the time I got home from work until they came back. I would call the management and leave messages for them NEVER to return my calls. You cant even use the pool during the summer because all the illegals would come and bring their 27 kids, when they aren't even a resident. Nothing in the fitness center ever worked. The hot water heater went in and out. The toilets were possessed and would make random noises. The grounds would hold water. I couldn't wash my car because they would over water the grass and their landscapers would splatter mud all over the cars. They started to let anyone move in there and it started getting "dark". The crime was getting out of control. When I moved out, the management made rude comments about where I was moving to. Very unprofessional and I couldn't get anyone there to talk to me after I moved out.

I lived at autumn chase in carrollton for one year and couldn't wait until my lease was up. I had black mold in my vents as well, the air smelled bad, and I knew this wasn't healthy. The people above me, their ac dripped all over my patio turning it into a nasty mosquito swamp. I had a major ant and bug problem b/c they never sealed my apartment correctly no matter how many times maintenance came out. The walls are very thin which is why it was so noisy. Management is extremely rude when you are moving out. My toilet also made lots of noise and so did the ac unit outside my apartment. Whenever someone would walk in the apartment above me, tons of debris would constantly fall down.

I have black mold and all that was done was they came and bleached the vents....I am pregnant and have a two year old so I think it is important to have a clean home....they didnt even give me new vents they just said it was from the condensation but I was not born yesterday I know what black mold is and I know how harmful it can be.....they refuse to do anything else about it and kept asking me to take care of it but like I said...I am pregnant and there is no way I am getting up on a ladder to clean that stuff when this is the reason why I pay to live here in the forst place. my recommendation is not to live here...with the new management things have gona downhill....very downhill....and especially if you have children or health conditions you really need to take care of yourself and find a home that's clean.
